The Publishing and Technical Office carries out professional tasks relating to the publishing and printing of navigational charts and publications, performs prepress services, technical editing and planning, and the final printing control of navigational charts and publications and other HHI editions. The Office is responsible for technical maintenance of the HHI building and surroundings, including cars, equipment and instruments. In addition, it manages and monitors the implementation of regulations on health and safety at work. It also participates in the contracted work and in technical and development projects.

The Publishing and Technical Office consists of two departments: Graphic Production Department and Technical Department.
