HHI attends 20th international conference Geoinformation and Cartography

The Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia participated in the 20th international conference Geoinformation and Cartography, which was held 5 – 7 September 2024, organized by the Croatian Cartographic Society and the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb.

The Hydrographic Institute is a long-standing active member of the Croatian Cartographic Society, so its representatives are also members of the Croatian Cartographic Society chairmanship.

The representative of the Hydrographic Institute Valerija Filipović actively participated with presentation “Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia – development and activities”. Through participation in the conference, members of the Cartographic Department were given the opportunity to expand and share their knowledge in the field of cartography, especially nautical cartography, with many participants and lecturers from Croatia, Austria, Hungary, and Greece.
