HHI representative participates in the 4th Meeting of the Croatian Cartographic Society Chairmanship

This year’s 4th Meeting of the Croatian Cartographic Society Chairmanship took place on 17 November 2020. In special circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was held through video conference. Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia was represented by Mr Ante Kolić. President Lapaine submitted a report on activities of the Croatian Cartographic Society, and presented the plan and programme for the next 17th International Conference on Geoinformation and Cartography, scheduled for 23 and 24 September 2021. He highlighted the importance of the journal “Kartografija i geoinformacije” (Cartography and Geoinformation), whose all issues published so far are available at the British Library, the largest library in the world. Participants also talked about preparations for the 21st Annual Assembly, likely to be held from 7 to 11 December 2020 through video conference. Members of the CCS Chairmanship reported on their activities in the field of cartography for the period since last meeting.
