Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia acquires new multibeam echosounder

To improve the hydrographic activity and enhance the safety of navigation, as well as to continue the systematic state hydrographic survey, for issuing new nautical charts and publications, the HHI has acquired new dual head multibeam echosounder for shallow water operation Teledyne Reason SEABAT T50-R, allowing survey in 0.5 – 575 m depths. Multibeam echosounder can collect high-quality depth data and detect obstructions and underwater installations on the sea bottom.
