Visit from students of I. Gimnazija Split High School

On 12 April 2024, the Hydrographic Institute welcomed senior students of I. Gimnazija Split High School, accompanied by their teacher Tina Franić.

The visit was organized as part of the International Night of Geography (GeoNight), aiming to promote geographic knowledge and skills.

Students were given a presentation on the current activity and work of the Institute. They also made a tour of the Museum of Hydrography where they learned about the Institute’s history. 

In the Cartographic Department, students attended a presentation on the process of nautical chart (paper and electronic) production, publication, reproduction and updating.

This visit is a continuation of traditional visits from high-school students to the Hydrographic Institute.
