Visit from students of Natural Sciences School Split

On 7 November 2024, the Hydrographic Institute welcomed senior students of the Natural Sciences School Split, course Environmental technician, accompanied by their teacher Zrinka Bralić.

The visit was organized as part of the subject Applied Ecology.

Students were given a presentation on the current activity and work of the Institute. They made a tour of the Museum of Hydrography where they learned about the Institute’s history. 

Also, they followed with interest a lecture on production of nautical charts (paper and electronic), submarine geology, and chemical parameters of seawater.

This visit is a continuation of traditional visits from high-school students to the Hydrographic Institute.
